The thematic title of my work deals with the landscape. I do live in the country, so its natural that I would focus on the landscape, however most of my paintings are not taken directly from nature, but rather from my imagination.

I like to think of the paintings as landscapes, but not necessarily of an earthly origin. While some most certainly could be earth based, most are a kind of composite of what I imagine another world might look like combined with some familiar imagery.
