Young Artists Program at Viridian Artists

In the spirit of promoting young and emerging artists, Viridian is now offering a special affiliation for professional artists who are between 21-35 years of age and desire to be represented by our artist-owned Chelsea gallery. With full awareness of the high cost of contemporary life, artists selected for this program will pay $95 monthly. When they reach their 35th birthday, the dues will increase to the full representation rate or they can become an Affiliate. 

The artists' commitment for this Young Artist program is for 1 year as they contribute to the financial support of the gallery through their dues. Artists are asked to contribute 4 “work hours” monthly. In addition, Young Artists artwork will be featured in both Viridian Artists’ website and on Artsy, a high end platform for art sales.

Young Artists wishing to apply for this representation may submit 8-10 hires jpegs of recent art (along with title, year, medium, size, and price), an artist’s statement, bio, and resume. Or, if you have a website with images of your art, an artist statement, and bio, you may send us your website for this preliminary review instead. If the committee approves of your art in this preliminary review, you will be asked to submit actual works for the final vote.
