Kiffi Diamond

Artist Statement

Kiffi Diamond is inspired by her media: carefully collected and curated detritus, vintage ephemera and natural objects. The discovery of a find is creatively inspiring. Kiffi works with her eclectic palette to make relatable, sometimes three dimensional, people, animals and abstract spaces. Her free spirit and playful attitude come through in her whimsical compilations.

Kiffi begins each piece with a sturdy wood art panel to build her images on. The work is durable using the best adhesives, with heavier objects wired on. A frame is unnecessary .

Coming from a line of artists, making art as a child was a great source of pleasure, purpose and fun. This is still the case for Kiffi. An early bug for collecting ephemera became a thread that has endured. After art school, she became a graphic designer, honing her sense of design and the use of diverse elements, leading to her current mixed media work.
