Carol Bivins, A Quiet Break From The Chaos. 40 x 40 in., oil on panel, 2022.

We’re happy to share that affiliate member Carol Bivins has had her painting A Quiet Break From The Chaos selected for Black & White 2026, an online exhibition presented by the Hummingbird & Dragonfly Art Gallery in Los Angeles.

Carol’s painting draws the viewer in through rich texture, subtle shifts of tone, and an atmospheric sense of depth. It’s a beautiful example of Carol’s ability to create a feeling of quiet within an expressive, layered surface.

Congratulations to Carol on this wonderful recognition!
