Viridian Artist Alan Gaynor Awarded An Honorary Spider Fellow Award

We are thrilled to announce that Viridian Artist Alan Gaynor, an architectural and urban photographer, has received an Honorary Spider Fellow Award for the 20th Annual Black & White Spider Awards.

The Black & White Spider Awards is a prestigious international competition celebrating excellence in monochrome photography. An international jury recognizes exceptional photographic work for its creativity, emotional impact, and ability to tell compelling stories through the distinctive language of black and white. This is a significant recognition of the image’s artistic quality, originality, and visual impact.

The Photoshow will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, when the live acceptance speeches and award presentations will be held, marking the culmination of this year’s awards.

We are delighted to celebrate Alan Gaynor and this well-deserved recognition of his vision as an architectural photographer. His Honorary Spider Fellow Award is a wonderful acknowledgment of the creative possibilities of monochrome photography and of Alan’s singular approach to seeing the built environment.
