We are pleased to announce Irene Christensen’s upcoming exhibition, Releasing Anchors from the Past, featuring oil paintings, on view from September 28 through October 29, 2026.
The Opening Reception will take place on Wednesday, September 30, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The exhibition will also celebrate the presentation of the new book Dread and Splendor: Paintings and Poems for a New Earth, featuring artwork by Irene Christensen and poetry by Eileen P. Kennedy, published by Shanti Arts LLC in 2026.

Irene Christensen at the National Arts Club
Following the opening of Releasing Anchors from the Past, Irene Christensen’s work will also be presented at the National Arts Club in New York City.
The presentation features Christensen’s evocative oil paintings and celebrates the new book, Dread and Splendor: Paintings and Poems for a New Earth, bringing together artwork by Irene Christensen and poetry by Eileen P. Kennedy.
