For me, Eros and Thanatos remain encompassing topics of Art through time and space.   From a series of nearly 100 numbered “specimen” lachrymal bowls hand built on a Human Calverium (skull top)  through an ongoing series of erotic Lino cut prints sourced and modified from ancient Greek drinking vessels of the all male symposia, I acknowledge Mortality and drink the wine.  Formative years as a New Orleans artist ( a city steeped in blithe death) inform macabre and masquerade elements of my work as well.
